The
Omni Hotel at CNN Center is the site of this year’s Symposium.
The Omni Hotel at CNN Center is a 15-story, full-service, upscale hotel
located in the heart of downtown
Atlanta. The hotel recently completed a $9 million dollar renovation of its
lobby and restaurant. The hotel opened in Atlanta in 1975. Turner Broadcasting
acquired full ownership of the hotel in 1986 and renamed the property the
Omni Hotel at CNN Center. The hotel places you in the middle of the bustling
CNN Center complex, headquarters for CNN News, Headline News, Talkback Live,
and Turner Broadcasting. The hotel is also connected to the Philips Arena
and the Georgia World Congress Center. It is located across the street from Centennial Olympic Park and
within walking distance to the Georgia Dome.
It is located six blocks from Underground Atlanta, and eight blocks
from the World of Coca Cola Museum.
The
Omni Hotel at CNN Center can be easily and quickly reached from the Atlanta’s
Hartsfield International Airport using MARTA. From the Airport Station (Station
S-7) travel north to Five Points Station. At Five Points Station, transfer
to the West Line. Go to the Omni/Dome/GWCC Station (Station W-1). Signs will
direct you to the Omni Hotel.
A
