Congratulations on having your paper selected for inclusion in the program
and proceedings of the 2004 IEEE International Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics,
and Frequency Control 50th Anniversary Joint Conference!!
In order for the 2004 IEEE International Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and
Frequency Control 50th Anniversary Joint Conference to be
published in a timely manner, it is important that authors follow the submission
instructions to the best of their ability. (There are aides imbedded into
the detail instructions.) We will be publishing the Proceedings in two formats,
both as a CD-ROM and as a printed proceedings. Conference attendees will
receive the CD-ROM that will contain all the papers presented at the Joint
Conference as part of their full registration fee. There will be a separate
printed volumes for each subgroup (i.e. Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency
Control). A soft-cover copy of each subgroup's printed Proceedings may be
ordered separately for an additional cost. (See conference registration
form.)
As the Proceedings is a record of the 2004 IEEE International Ultrasonics,
Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control 50th Anniversary Joint Conference ,
only those papers which are actually presented at the Conference by the author
during either an oral or a poster session will be accepted for publication
in the Proceedings. In the event that an author is unable to personally present
the paper, he/she MUST be represented in either poster or oral sessions by
an individual who is qualified to discuss the technical material in the paper
and who will remain in attendance for the full session in which the paper
is presented.
The IEEE Conference and Custom Publishing Department of the IEEE will be
the interface to all authors for the submission of their paper(s). ( http://www.ieee.org/organizations/pubs/confpub/ ) Use conference ID uffc2004
Significant aspects of their system which we believe our authors will appreciate
are:
Electronic upload of the author's original source files.
IEEE generation of PDF files with an interface for author's approval.
Electronic submission of copyright forms.
Electronic management of paper submissions in real time by Proceedings
Editor.
Immediate IEEE Xplore compatibility .
